Pairs++ is a quickplay Windows-based game where you match pairs of cards within a time limit. Place bets to gain gold which can be used in the shop to buy items which modify the game's stakes and difficulty, as well as themes which alter the game's basic appearance.

Some things:

Default volume is 75%. The Options menu includes a volume slider and a mute button.

Install instructions

HOW TO PLAY (quick version):

0. Download

1. Unzip

2. Run Game.bat

HOW TO PLAY (detailed version):

0. Download the game.

1. Open the downloaded file from within your browser, or find the folder your browser dowloaded Pairs++ to. (Usually C:\Users\yournamehere\downloads)

2. Unzip Pairs++.zip (right click, extract). Use WinZip or WinRar if you don't have an option to extract. Most people should.

3. Open the folder that was unzipped.

4. Double-click "Run Game.bat".

5. A shortcut to the game will be placed on your desktop after running Run Game.bat for the first time. You should use the desktop shortcut to play the game from here on.

SECURITY NOTES:

To avoid having the user download and install AutoIT, the game folder includes all dependencies needed to run the game, and uses a batch file to run the source code directly through the official, digitally-signed included AutoIT3_x64 executable. That said, the official executable still picks up one false positive on nearly all scanners. If you have any doubts, look through the source code and replace the AutoIT3_x64.exe with a copy obtained through the official AutoIT website, found in the Self Extracting Archive. https://www.autoitscript.com/site/autoit/downloads/. It's the same exact thing.
